Built on Logic. Designed for Trust.
Our calculation methodology ensures accurate, transparent, and reliable results — powered by clear formulas, real-world assumptions, and rigorous testing.
How We Build
Our Calculators
Every tool on Formulexa is built with a clear process, combining mathematical accuracy, real-world use cases, and user-focused design. Our methodology ensures you always get reliable results.

Version-controlled calculation logic
Every calculator has pure TypeScript calculation and validation functions separate from its interface. Changes can be reviewed and tested without relying on rendered text.
Testing and precision
Unit tests cover documented examples, boundaries, invalid inputs, conversions, and floating-point tolerance. Full precision is kept during calculation; display rounding is applied afterward.
Assumptions and estimates
Material weight is always an estimate because density changes with source, gradation, moisture, voids, and compaction. The interface identifies the active density and provenance. Salary tools use user-entered gross amounts and do not calculate tax, deductions, benefits, or legal entitlements.
Report a problem
If a formula, conversion, example, or explanation appears wrong, send calculation feedback with the calculator name and enough detail to reproduce the issue. Do not include sensitive personal information.

Accuracy. Transparency. Always.
We follow strict standards so you can trust every result. Our calculators are built with clear formulas, visible assumptions, and independently tested logic — no hidden adjustments.
